Payment & Fees

Insurance & Private Pay

My practice operates on a private-pay (self-pay) model, meaning I do not participate with insurance plans. This decision is intentional and reflects my commitment to providing the highest quality care while maintaining transparency with my clients. Insurance companies often place limitations on treatment that can affect the therapeutic process. By working outside of insurance networks, I am able to focus fully on what is most beneficial for you rather than what is dictated by an insurance company.

Individual Therapy Sessions

I offer 60-minute individual therapy sessions for $200. Each session is a full hour dedicated entirely to your care, allowing the time and space needed for meaningful therapeutic work. Payment is due at the time of service. I accept cash, check, major credit cards and HSA/FSA cards.

Why Work With a Private-Pay Specialty Therapist?

Choosing a therapist who does not participate with insurance offers some important benefits:

- Greater Privacy & Confidentiality

When therapy is private-pay, the details of your care remain between you and your therapist (within standard limits of confidentiality). Because insurance is not involved, there is no need to submit diagnostic information or clinical records for reimbursement. This can allow therapy to focus fully on your personal goals and needs.

- Higher Level of Specialized Care

Many specialty therapists maintain smaller caseloads so they can devote more time and attention to each client. This often allows for deeper, more individualized work and ongoing advanced training within their specific area of expertise.

-Flexibility in Length and Frequency of Therapy

Private-pay therapy allows you and your therapist to decide together how often to meet and how long to continue treatment. This flexibility can help ensure therapy progresses at a pace that feels right for you.

-Transparent Pricing

With private-pay therapy, you always know the exact cost of your session. There are no surprise bills, insurance denials, or unexpected charges months later.

Out-of-Network Reimbursement

Although I do not participate directly with insurance plans, some clients are able to receive partial reimbursement through their out-of-network mental health benefits.

After every session, I provide a Superbill (insurance friendly receipt) that you may submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.

Therapy is an investment in your emotional wellbeing, relationships, and long-term personal growth. My goal is to provide high-quality, personalized care in a confidential and supportive environment. If you have any questions or concerns about fees, your OON benefits, or payment, please feel free to reach out before scheduling.
